Description

I used to make a several tribute basses during the years, just to see how it fits from my angle.

Of course, I only did that in time when I have a strong realisation of a particular instrument (or builders intentions).

Well, some years ago, I made the MOTH, its a butterfly right… so, rather then store it, it may fly as well.

Very traditional sounding. Also a complex project it turned out to be.

So specs:

Canadian maple neck, ebony fingerboard, lined but fretless.

Birdseye alder body with flame walnut top. Ebony nut.

BassCulture custom made pickup, noiseless. Housed in a birdie maple cover.

ABM monorail type bridges with Graph-tech piezo saddles going to a Bartolini preamp that mixes piezo and magnetic pickups.

33″ scale
